The class of second year, M.A. Development Communication, Jamia Milia Islamia prepared a Radio Show for Jamia Radio 90.4 fm under the guidance of our teacher Mrs. Simran Kohli. The show titled TK was based on the theme of "Routine Immunization". The show focussed on TK who is a fictious character inspired by the bollywood star and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, Mr. Amir Khan who, through his converstions with the RJ gives out information on Routine Immunization and Mission Indrashanush.

The one hour show was hosted by an RJ and the fictious character TK (Khyati and Hari respectively). The show consisted of RJ links interspaced with jingles, promos and songs. The official Mission Indradhanush song composed by Mr. Javed Akhtar was also played during the show and was given a special mention. The jingle and the show promo also focussed on the theme of Routine Immunization. In the RJ links, TK and the RJ spoke about the importance of Rountine Immunization, Mission Indradhanush and its objectives and Primary Health Centres (PHC) and a few facts about vaccination amongst Delhi children. To make the show interesting and entertaining, TK impersonated Mr. Amir Khan and cracked a few jokes with the RJ in between.

Overall, the show was well appreciated by the audience and was able to generate response from the listeners who called in and sent in messages to enquire further about Mission Indradhanush and timings and location of its vaccination centres. The listeners also congratulated the class on the show's success.
